Dr. Allison Bergin grew up in nearby Leaf River, IL. Her early years of raising beef cattle, horseback riding, and 4-H strongly influenced her desire to go into veterinary medicine. She attended Sweet Briar College for her undergraduate studies majoring in Biology and Chemistry before attending the University of Illinois for Veterinary School.
